Hello everyone.
Today, I would like to introduce our original part, reinforcing component for R32 skyline GT-R. This component is built-to-order but we have some in stock. If you’re interested in this product, please don’t hesitate to contact us. You can just buy the part and equip by yourself or ask your favorite car shops if you would like to.

Actually, this panel is standard equipment for R34GTR and 33GTR but not for 32GTR.
I don’t know why. Lol (could be weight limit or something?)
The above photo is before installation. The brown part is the position which was eliminated its ceiling and under coat for welding.
The red panel in the above photo is R34GTR side member outrigger panel which cost 3,920 yen. (As of Apr 2018)
We investigated R34GTR outrigger panel and re-built for 32 GTR.
That is our R32 Skyline GT-R Outrigger Panel.

In terms of installation, we use a spot welder and a MIG welder.
We weld Side frames, the edge of cabin, the lower part of floor panel and lower part of front pillar which will improves reinforcement effect.
We could drill holes to fix by bolts, tapping screws, rivets or something.
However, welding seems the best way regarding this operation.
The weight would be 1,022g and the floor side is attached a steel sheet which thickness is 1.6t.
The cabin side is installed 1.2t steel metal which is formed the same shape as the floor cabin.
The reason we use the different steel sheets for the floor side and the cabin side is thinner steel sheets is more convenient for forming for the cabin side. If you prefer the same steel sheets, we can use the same thick ones for them.
It is not completely covered therefore we operate louver working for 5 positions for draining water.
Aside to that, 1945 HAKOSUKA GTR which we are restoring now has also outrigger panel.
As long as we can see, it looks very natural so it should be the original component.
But if so, they understood that the reinforcing this part is very effective but they didn’t adopt this idea for R32, we don’t know why. lol

This is after the installation.
The black part is WAKO’s painting for salt damage prevention.
We can paint under coats or ceiling for make the panel joint invisible.
The effectiveness of this our original outrigger panel is more improved with our original side sill reinforcement plate. However, the cost and time are needed to reinforce side sill.
Therefore, why don’t you try our original outrigger panel first and see how it works?
